A captivating, 10,000 sq/ft boardwalk that showcases the remarkable flora and fauna of Sturgeon Creek, an inlet of Lake Erie.
Explore the breathtaking peninsula which provides panoramic views of Sturgeon Creek, along with glimpses of various turtle nest ponds, snake hibernaculum’s and abundant wildlife. The boardwalk serves as a tranquil oasis where CFN citizens and the wider community can gather, reflect, and immerse themselves in the area’s natural beauty.

The project was made possible with the support of the Canadian Community Revitalization Fund. It highlights the collaborative conservation efforts of the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA) and Caldwell First Nation.
